I am so sorry, but this item has already been sold and I rarely have time to make them anymore. If I do, would you like me to contact you? Just so you know, however, this is a very delicate piece and can't be played with, so it might not be very fun for her unless she's okay with just looking at it.
I have to ask you something, 'cause I wanna make a present to my favourite writer, and one of the characters of her novel is a unicorn... you wouldn't lend me the pattern, or even sell it, would you? (I swear it's for a present and I'm not gonna make money with it, I wouldn't like anyone to do it with any pattern I make)
I bought one of these unicorns from Shalladrin and just received her in the mail yesterday. Shalladrin did such a beautiful job! Hey Shalladrin it's me Julia. Thank you again for such a beautiful unicorn!
They are made with felt, pipe cleaner, and polyester fiberfill. The eyes and horn are polymer clay, painted with acrylic. The mane and tail tip are made with silk tussah roving. And yes, the legs are wired so they are sturdier. I trim the fuzz off of the pipe cleaner so that it still has a slight padding, but is thin enough to fit into the leg.
Oooooo... so pretty! I LOVE this one too! You've got such a unique wonderful talent for these small creations. I'm still unpacking and I can't wait to find the two I got for my daughter so we can place them on her horse collection shelf. :} I would love to get one of these for myself....LOL I'm such a kid and I know my daughter would find it and haul it away to her room claiming it for herself. :}
Yes, the move was very complicated, frustrating and stressful. We left Arkansas in June and did not get our house until the 12th of October....they kept saying it would be done and it kept getting postponed...I will never go through another house building again. It ws by far the worst move we have ever done. We are still unpacking and trying to set up house...LOL
Oh my word. That's awful! We moved into our house when it was unfinished - no sink, no oven, no counters, no cabinets, one bathroom that was kindof finished. And no furniture. It was great. I'm sorry it has been such a trial though!
